I think dry ice is a good setting to set up the enemy's base, makes them intimidating. That's one of the reason I love Flashman and older series.
I don't know if we can ever get a detailed enemy base anymore. Although the Kibaonis have a nice simplistic base.

As many other sentais, both enemies from Changeman and Flashman will receive upgrades (cosmic powers, more mutations, even weapons, fusions, whatever). So it's pretty common to see Nefer 2.0, Wandar 2.0, Ahames 2.0, Giluke 2.0, Gars 2.0...
I think it's neat because they are always adding more complicated fights thought the history - and the group need to grow and develop tactics, as a team, to surpass it.

You guys had "While washing away their sweat, the five youths felt they finally became true soldiers" twice, but the first one doesn't mention true soldiers (hontou no senshi), but yasashii otoko (dunno what you goes would've translated it as. It also mentions Ibuki (whatever you translated his rank as before) too
