I'll just leave this here.
What about it?
It's the train that goes to Wajima, where the small Go Nagai museum is.
>>13592640
The conductor of this train has the power to become either a god or a devil, it's up to him tochoo-choo-choose
>>13592640
what is wrong with mazinger's torso
>>13594609
Nagai's art "evolution"
>>13594647
Oh, oh! Here we go again!
This is a pretty ugly train.
>>13594846
You're a pretty ugly train DESU
>>13594808
well it looks bad, nagai is a good artist but mazinger's torso obviously looks terrible.
don't be a fag
>>13595650
>perspective
jesus fuck you guys are retarded
>>13594846
For you.
>>13595650
>nagai is a good artist
Stopped reading here.
>>13596404
>Go's a bad artist guy
This meme needs to die.
>>13596404
Nice one, spic.
>>13595666
Satan, that still looks pretty bad. One of his breast fire chest pieces is clearly smaller than the other
Like, I'm a fuking garbage artist and I wouldn't let that shit fly. He's not a bad artist by any means, but that only makes the illustration worse since it shows a lack of care
>>13596457
Lack of care describes pretty much everything he has done in the past decade.
>>13596404
I'm a huge fan of the guy, but his art is largely pretty terrible.
>>13596742
Nagai can do well when he wants to. He does poorly or at least average for the context quality when churning out comic pages which were intended as disposable entertainment and not to be held up as examples of his professional limits forty years later.
>>13597004
oh yeah, there's clearly a divide between his "comic with a deadline" and "art piece" work
>>13596742
Agree to disagree.
He's not that great, but his art is still better than many mainstream artists today.
You may not like his "style", but his art is a lot more refined and detailed than any of let's say... Toriyama or Kishimoto's art. If you're better than the mainstream, then you're already far from being terrible.
Most artists these days barely even shade.
Go Nagai is a good artist.
Tbh he draws humans pretty terribly but his much and monster designs are great
>>13595666
What's wrong with Honey's boobs?
>>13598133
Nagai's art "evolution" again
>>13597402
I just wish we had someone like Miura drawing robots. God damn, his art is beautiful.
>>13598125
The humans are just fine for something cartoony like Mazinger. Something like Devilman, however, is a different matter.
Great art
>>13598291
I wonder if Griffith actually felt bad about that.
>>13598275
Oh, oh! Here we go again!
>>13598291
Can you post some of Miura's art for comparison? He was inspired by Nagai.
The one you posted is really bland.
>>13594537
Underrated post
>>13597004
>>13597017
>>13598626
He was probably pretty butthurt about being scorned, but I doubt he actually cares about Rickert.
>>13598626
>>13600762
>sends a magic shadow assassin to kill Rickert the moment sun set
Griffith was PISSED
>>13600802
I thought that Centaur or whatever dude was super pissed and was the one who sent him.
Or maybe it wasn't the centaur, it was the huge knight.
I dunno, it's been so long desu
>>13600448
>He was inspired by Nagai.
How?
>>13601659
By lurking and getting to know the board culture
>>13601106
He's talking about chapters that have come out ever since the manga finally got serialized in July. It hasn't been that long.
Someone was clearly pissed, but they weren't clear on who it was. The characters all assume it was Griffith though
>>13601659
Monster designs
Plotlines
Characters
etc
It's really hard to find anyone from the 70s/80s/90s generation that wasn't inspired by Nagai. He's one of the most influential mangaka and anime creators in Japan.

No wonder most of it sucks.
The Ishinomori Mangattan Liner is surely the way to ride in style
>>13602596
can someone please translate the poster, I don't understand spanish
>>13603572
>Tim Burton
Jesus fuck, Miura, get your shit together.

I laughed harder than I should have
