AOZ's designs are only possible with CG at this point without cutting out so many elements to keep it 2D animated and on time and within budget.
Studio Orange would be perfect for this series, personally. Sunrise' own CG studios are still a little too stiff for AOZ's level of detail.

Flag of the Titans had about 7 chapters translated before getting stuck in scanlation limbo. It's much better than Traitor to Destiny, which is kind of shit (or at least the manga is).

Test Pilots get new fancy prototypes/technological demonstrators MS/MA they drop off a few comments, they deploy on some training mission. Oh how convenient the AEUG arrives duke it out suit gets damaged they return to base, with new suits awaiting them rince repeat this fucking shit U.C 0085-0088.
Another terrible aspect is the characters themselves, there is nothing Titans about these guys. Am I saying they need to launch gas attacks and be total dicks such as Bask, no but they could have at least tried to put some perspective on the type of warfare that the organization they belonged to conducted and how they expanded showcase the difference between the older cadre's and the new ones that came straight from Titans academia , Rome wasn't built in a day after all When it comes to U.C 0084-0086 it still remains relatively much a question mark when it comes to their activities.
This story could have been called Flags of LONDO BELL,League Militaire etc it would not have made any difference whatsoever.

Sidonia had some stiff CG moments, but that group would work too.
I was referring a bit more to Fafner and Comet Lucifer, both of which have a lot more moving parts than MJP' mechs but far less gimbal camera action. Both also have sexy backgrounds where they fight, though I know that's not all Studio Orange, but that of whatever group does those particular art assets.
