Sorry for the wait guys.
>>
Keen.
>>
thank you based anon, don't stop carry on
>>
>>13589690
Thanks [EG].
>>
>>13589718
>anon
You got the rest of it right though.
>>
So are these the last 35mm episodes? For the remainder of the entire series?

Kinda disappointing.
>>
>>13589749
Yeah. They ran out of money fast.
>>
>>13589690
Thanks a lot.
I'd feel bad pressing you even further, especially since you've been busy lately, but do you have an ETA on when this entire project will be finished? I assume there are about 7 discs in total, given that each one so far has had 7 episodes, correct?
>>
>>13589690
I hope you know how much I love you right now.
>>
>>13589690
I'll wait for understandable filesize version.
>>
>>13589769
Hopefully by end of the month I'll be done with box 1, which is four discs.
>>
>>13590681
Then would you say you'll have the whole show finished and out by Spring? Or is that too optimistic?
>>
>>13589690
Thank
>>13590633
Why are you such a fucking retard?
If it's such a big deal just run it through handbrake.
>>
>>13590817
Because he would still have to download it first?
>>
>>13591557
So? Who gives a shit? It's almost a guarantee that nobody is gonna bother reencoding RX's release in 720. If you don't have the harddrive space to download all the episodes at once, you can do it piecemeal.

It's the same namefag that's made this comment everytime, and nothing is going to change yet he keeps making the same dumbass comment.

Also, unless you live in Australia downloading a couple GBs isn't a big deal at all.

See, about that...
>>

Even then just download it piecemeal.

Shit man, hope your government decides to move out of the stone age some day.
>>
>>13589690
Could please do the Megazone 23 bd that just came out when you're done with Victory?
>>
>>13592633
I'm pretty sure this is [EG]'s last project before he retires completely.
>>
>>13592657
He's like Miyazaki, he'll back. I hope he'll.
>>
>>13592657
I think he's said he'll do 0083 when the Blurays come out in January, then THAT will be the last.
>>
>>13592657
>>13592911
0083 was indeed supposed to be my last, but even that is up in the air now. To be honest, I was ready to quit mid-November, and just drop everything, but I didn't want to leave on such a sour note with two unfinished series. Victory might be the last after all. I simply don't have the time, or quite frankly, the interest anymore.
>>
>>13593350
Fuck
>>
>>13593350
That's okay, you've done enough already. I salute you.

>>13593540
For what it's worth, I've made it very easy for someone to port my last 0083 release to the BDs, that was the whole point of the 2014 release, which finally synced everything up to the 2006 remaster. The hard work is actually already done, one would only need to see if the frame counts between the DVD and BD versions line up (they usually are no more than 1-2 frames off).

WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN
>>
>>13594316
>>13594333
The BDMVs look like they have a lot of artefacting compared to yours. At the very least, yours look a lot "cleaner" while still retaining some grain and kind of making the lines sharper
>>
>>13593972
Well I might be willing to give that a shot, but I'm hardly an expert encoder yet.

What about the Zeta V2s? Are those off too?
>>
>>13596824
Not quite yet, but let's just say I'm not motivated to do it having not heard a thing from clutchins in months.
>>
>>13596833
>not heard a thing from clutchins in months.
Do the sub ninjas hate SDF Macross and Dragon Ball above every other series? In any case, this is worrying.
>>
>>13596847
but those are already subbed

this must be why so many things got subbed lately without ninja intervention

they've evolved into encoding ninjas
>>
>>13596857
Jokes aside, I do want to avoid the whole "disappearing act" that many people seem to favor - understandably so - but everyone here knows I like to announce things with pomp and circumstance. Trust me, when I quit, you'll know it.
>>
>>13593972
Are you done with zeta v2?
>>
How do I into encoding? I could pick up some projects in the future

I don't want to flood you with questions, but do you have any idea why some of your BD episodes for ZZ have a different aspect ratio and are in widescreen, and others not? The first 20 or so are in 4:3, then afterwards it's 16:9. The resolution stays the same though, it just fills the screen.
>>
>>13598932
Take it easy

You've given us the greatest gift of all . . . grain . . . wait, I meant great encodes for anime that would not have been touched otherwise.

Don't stop being based.

Any idea why the BDs after episode 10 have this white kind of sheen/halo in the corners? It's noticeable in darker scenes. Is it a result of the change to 16mm in the transfer process?
Here's a comparison with the DVD
http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/153775
And it's not visible in the DVDs, but particularly noticeable in the top right corner of the BDs.
>>
>>13607528
That's not uncommon for film transfers as light can spill into the frame during photography, though this IS unusual in that it's completely absent in the DVD version. The DVD colors (my rip is tweaked a bit, mind you) are not quite as vibrant as the BD, so seeing these kinds of odd highlights in HD is not unusual, though they usually are more noticeable in the shadows.
