What did they change in the Blu Ray? Did they fix all the QUALITY?

What did they change in the Blu Ray? Did they fix all the QUALITY? Also where can I find the best Reco rip?

There was no quality, dumbass.

G REKT

Tomino said the writing/plot would be made better for the blu rays.

There are also a lot of BD specials, but no one has subbed them. Also there is no BD rip except [OZC], who took down all the torrents a while ago.

No *subbed* BDRip I mean. There are like 2 or

Can this be taken as an admission that G-Reco was not deep but actually poorly executed?
>>

no

>>13577684
Yes entirely. He said something like he wasn't used to making modern anime, and the story was cut down because only 26 episodes

Something like that

Still a great Gundam anime

I wouldn't say it was great. I'd say it was OK. It was very obviously rushed and muddled in places.

Now there is definite proof that G-Reco is the Emperor's New Clothes of anime.

Pay attention

That's actually a reference.
>>
>>13577684

Nope.
>>
>>13577699
If this is all you can complain about, you need to watch literally any other anime. I can understand many of the complaints about g-reco (even if I don't agree with them), but complaining about quality in this series is idiotic.
>>
>>13577612
They changed lighting effects, pan speeds, a couple seconds in when some bgms kick in, a shot of Cumpa's dead body at the bottom of the cliff, minor errors in coloration on pilot suits and undergarments.

They did effect changes in pretty much every episode but it's subtle you wouldnt give a shit about it if you didnt before. The more noticeable stuff like Gastima's Photon Radiators actually lighting up & Perfect Pack jello ring being turned into fairy dust a nice. Search the archives there are threads compiling the changes.

I liked g-reco quite a bit, but seriously, it's fans can be almost as obnoxious as the shitposters who literally watched 3 minutes.

Hold on. Bluray only shorts? The fuck?

The BD is getting localized here right?

How can I check that this is BD and not just the 1080p TV version? Was there a watermark on the TV version?

>not knowing how to retime subs
Spoonfed retards are a reality.
>>
>>13585498
I've retimed subs myself, but I doubt anyone wants to watch a show for the first time fiddling with that, if it can be helped.
>>
>>13585508
So you do agree with the statement above.
>>
>>13585544
I made this post >>13582880
If there's an alternative to going through the hassle, and in this case there is, why would you bother doing work that's already been done? That's inefficient and stupid.

To answer your question though, yes, spponfed retards are a reality, but that has little to do with the intent behind my posts. If you've already seen it cool, but a lot of people like to wait until there are BDrips so they can enjoy the show in the best format possible.
>>
>>13585498
>Wanting to manually retime subs
I've prototyped a semi-automated TV->BD subtitle synchronizer, but it still has a way to go. In any case, if the source subtitles are mistimed, the retimed subtitles will be mistimed as well. The fact of the matter is that it's a labor and time intensive process, so nobody has done it yet.
>>
>>13585610
See >>13582855

They need to add a 5 minute short. Where Bellri and Aida bathe together.
>>
>>13585634
I can get behind this
>>
>>13585610
And for G-reco there is a possibility some lines were changed in BD version
>>
>>13585631
I already have the 720p episodes but the main issue is that the TV source has hard-coded subtitles. My algorithm currently works by sampling the audio from a line's time interval and comparing it to BD audio in a region where I I expect there to be a similar audio segment. The problem with this is that if the subtitles I'm using to sync are mistimed, like OZC's sometimes are, then the same error will translate into the "corrected" subtitles.

>>13585691
That would fuck my program up, although I'm experimenting with comparing video frames instead of audio in the event that no good audio match is found.
