Did any one watch the 90s Reideen?
I haven't seen it.
Kinda looks saint seiya meets yusha.
but I will say this is a good re-design.

Arf arf. I watched the entire series, every episode, raw when it aired.
Honestly, it was just so-so.
The giant robot only shows up in like the last few episodes, andit's the bad guy.

I don't think it's actually gay, I think it's that the people in charge of everything wanted things like everything the Samurai Troopers format implied... and the writers were tripping the light fantastic the entire time.
Thus the main characters are a part of an idol group. And are often naked. And at one point someone fantasizes about what they would look like in a girl idol's clothes. And... uh, well, fucking everything to be honest.

I haven't gotten that far yet.
I saw it when first aired and got the manga series...which is basically a variation on the Silver Surfer/Galactus scenario from the old Marvel Comics FANTASTIC FOUR series: only with five Surfers made from Earth teens. Reideen is cast as Galactus, whom the Surfers must defeat or Earth is toast.
