So what does /m/ think of sword fights outside of MS? Should it be more common? Or was three series enough?

>Or were three series enough?
Were there three sword fight scenes? I only remember Amuro vs Char in 0079 and Loran vs Gym in TurnA.

Treize and Wufei in Wing, that literally lasted less than 30 seconds.

The Turn A fight lasted 5 seconds of Loran smashing his sword against Gym's until it broke

This duel from Syn Bionic is one of my favorites, probably result of the time that Genndy worked on Clone Wars animation:

So, now, I want to ask about sword duels to you /m/. Which kind of sword duel you prefer?
The minute long, choreographed duel. Like we see in the new Star Wars trilogy or in europeans movies, like "The Duelists" and such.

Or the incredibly short duel. The kind of duel with a long silent scene, for the preparation, that culminate in a clash of few seconds finished with one single move, like the ones in old Akira Kurosawa samurai movies.

Which is also the most realistic sword fight, where the fuck did Amuro and Char learn to fight with sabers?
>>13552688
The averted kind.

I hope that was not a spoiler because that just got me interested in Sym-Bionic Titan. Going to marathon that bitch.

I wet my pants when it happened at the end of 0079
>Literary bringing a knife to a Gun fight.
This is why most MS pilot no matter the series carry side arms with them.

As glad as I am the duel happens, he did just sort of throw his gun away. Not the most practical option if your intent is to save the king and not have a swordfight.
