To be fair, some Zanscare personnel were capable of self-reflection and you could feel that those people were just normal people who ended up fighting for the wrong side. The bald guy at the start and the Guards pilot pair using mass-production Shokews are the better examples.
The end scene for the biker duo was definitely not one of those, however. At best, they're deluded for the cause and their own interests the same way extremists are. I probably have more pity for Fuala (a minuscule amount, I must admit) than those two.

In hindsight, the V Hexa doesn't make any sense. The whole point of making the Victory a Gundam was to capitalize on the fame of past Gundams. Why take away one of the most distinctive features of Gundams (the V fin) if you're trying to do that?

And I agree, at first her behavior is believable. She hates seeing people suffering, but more than that she hates seeing her closest friend / love interest becoming someone who is accustomed to fighting in a war. She sees no obvious reasonable solution and does something stupid out of shock/desperation.
I don't think most people would honestly disagree with that. What pisses people off about her is that she keeps doing it over and over again. She becomes more of a plot device than a character at times.

Also, I think Shakti's behaviour is strongly justified from the moment she finds out she's the princess of Zanscare. She believes that because she's the queen's daughter she has some power and that makes her think she can influence people and stop the war. Obviously, since Maria is a figurehead, that is far from truth. Plus, the two authority figures: her uncle Cronicle and Katejina, someone she knew before the whole affair keep deceiving the poor girl.
Shakti's decisions are not exactly rational quite often, but I don't think it's entirely correct to blame a 12-year old girl for that.
