Never heard of it. Was it good?
>>
>>13541280
I can't afford the 500$ monthly to stay competitive. :^)
>>
I wish the game had more robots because it has the best robot customization I've found on PC. Instead it's all animes all the time and you can't make horrifying gestalts with those.
>>
>>13541427
We need more robot customization games, i remember armored core games have decent customization but game play wise it becomes a heavy commitment to stay sharp with the controls and other shit.
>>
>>13541464
Yea, especially with emulation's controls being really clunky. I think there's only about five PC games with much giant robot customization, CB, Front Mission Evolved, and probably a few others I don't remember because they're really wimpy or browser games.

I still play it. At least until CB2 comes out in english.

It's a good game, but well and truly 95% P2W. The last 5% is pure skill; because I've seen longtime veterans with "shit" builds (if you consider free parts shit) like hoppers or even an old Lagkun tear some of the hottest new bots a new one and make top 10 with ease.

I don't consider myself in the 5% though. I'm only good at AIRs, and occasionally roll for AIRs if I find one I love.

Go back to JAST already Piroko. Enough shilling. You are so bad at it, even /g/ and reddit's microsoft shills do a better job of masking their intentions.

We've been burned one too many times by CB, so we stopped.

piroko was affiliated with CB, if I remember correctly, and used to spam CosmicBreak around on different mediums, advertising it.

It did succeed in pulling in /a/, /jp/, and /m/ once long ago, but now the only remaining groups are mostly wealthy f/a/gs.

Which reminds me; there was one player who spent their entire salary gambling for one specific moebot; to the point he couldn't even afford ramen for a week or two.
>>
only literal autists play it at this point
>>
>>13541878
Piroko is a CB player who got hired to be a GM on CBEN by the name of Ramune.

JAST as in JAST USA, the dudes translating Nitro+ VNs but they started with Lighting Warrior Raidy and stuff.
>>
>>13541280
The game was fun back in the day, but things got progressively worse and worse over the years. Pay-for-a-chance-to-win Garapon and Indo Lagshields were major factors that led to a lot of players leaving.
>>
>>13542279
Nothing like first week gold garapon spam in matches. Made the game unplayable until people got tired of their new slut of the month.
>>
>>13542323
Oh yes. How could I have neglected to mention in >>13542279 about the power creep?

If I went back into the game right now, I'm sure the few good things that I managed to obtain as a free player are pretty much useless now.
>>
Stop complaining about gara because they fixed that long ago with ticket events. However, there are plenty of OP bots. But this is a team based game, so just play as a team and you'll be alright.
>>
>>13542416
>team based game
>With Indos and idiotic BRs and SEAfags

Hahahaha! Even Somalians have better teamwork!
>>
>>13542897
It is a team-based game; as long as one team has a healer or some group buffing support bot.

I mean, I can get Top 10 just right-click spamming Fluene's Flute playing and keeping everyone else's ammo and WBs topped.
>>
>>13541846
>At least until CB2 comes out in english.
CB2 doesn't have any IP restrictions and I'm pretty sure whatever JP there is are easy to guess.
Game seems really dumbed down, though.
Just imagine CB but with much less part mix-matching.
>>
>>13543127
The game WAS designed to be team-based. However, in its current state, it's the team that has the most lagshields and newest gold garapon units (and people to buff the OP stuff if they don't have OP stuff themselves) that wins. True teamwork does little to prevent the overrun.

>>13542416
Ticket events give you rolls to try and obtain cash-only units, but it's still a *roll*. You only have a chance to get something useable and an even smaller chance to get something that can combat the top tier powercreep.

To make things worse, you typically have to play insufferable games against hordes of lagshielded units in order to obtain the tickets in the first place.

The situation is far from fixed.

---

For reference to those that don't know, because of how the connections work in CB, people with laggy connections fare better than those with good connections.

The laggers will have horrible control response time, but they also take severely delayed damage. Many have caught on to this and abuse it with high damage, high speed units. They can run around, taking way more damage than they should, blendering players until the damage they've taken finally registers and they die.

Players with good connections will have good response time in the game, but all damage they take is registered on time as well. Sure, you can move well, but the laggers will eventually catch you and run you over.

You still have MWO and Hawken,
also Titanfall.
>>
>>13543727
Your power is not enough, my friend. What we desire is true bipedal mecha-combat, not this american walking tank bullcrap. Titanfall comes close, but only uses it as a secondary battle mode, not the primary. Plus, what kind of useless mecha can't be customized with a 1000 different parts, and only barely lets you mess with loadout, with no option to go in suicidal with a massive sword?
>>
>>13543727
But all of those are crappy 'tankmechs'; and this is from a BattleTech fan from the late 80s-early 90s.
>>
>>13542416
This is completely false. The garapon's existence is what fucks up the game. Theres a shop, but less than what, 30 percent of bots are actually in there? Come on, dog. Even with these ticket events you still have to rely on fucking luck to get something good.
> But this is a team based game, so just play as a team and you'll be alright.
Why lie?
>>
OP is obviously some retarded shill. No one who isn't retarded or a shill would defend this shit game.
Not to mention the game puts teams of paying players against teams of free players, maximum pay to win jew.

Bullshit. You get to roll garapons filled with 2/3 great bots. If you're still losing with those bots, then guess what? YOU SUCK
>>
>>13545091
Haha keep lying. I've done maybe five ticket events and I've basically run out of bots to even roll for in the ticket garas since I've got everything I want at this point.
>>
I liked C21 when I played the Japanese version and the beta of international Cosmic Break was kind of fun but it really just wasn't that good I guess.

It's clear that you cannot comprehend, let alone listen to, reason and that replying to you any further is a waste of time.

I ain't touched the game in like over two years.
>tfw DOS became full of BR shitters but i was too stubborn to leave

>>13542279
I think the Sugoi Gara (Toybox Girl, Aquilla Girl, Mighty Byne Girl) was the tipping point for when musume because obnoxiously broken and power-creep-y.
Ever since then the game has just been unsalvagable.
Which is a shame since the core gameplay is so cool and some of the mecha are really fun (like the giant rollerskating one).
>tfw last time I had fun with the game was the EU CB because there was nothing later than Ouka (i think; who was pushing it a little, but still managable) on the field in terms of musume, not to mention RT wasn't implemented
i miss my Frau Adone legs

>>13543785
Hawken ain't tankmechs.
They're about the size of a 3-story building at most and are built with some kind of lighter-than-air metals to stay mobile.
It's an interesting balance between twitch aim and positioning.

>>13544106
>check it out

nope.
>>
>>13543727
MWO is outdated and slow, hawken is counterstrike with walking TVs, titanfall is owned by EA, meaning it was good for the first 6 months, then milked for all the fun out of it
>>
wasnt there a new cosmic break follow up game?

cosmic league?
>>
>>13551034
You can still do that. In fact, it's even more viable given the part/tune selection nowadays.
>>
>>13552882
it was literally CB2 but it failed so miserably in the west they had to change the name
