mocap is badass and all but it also means you have to be totally shredded and able to do all the crazy shit you want your mech to do, and have the superhuman endurance/stamina to actually make use of your gas mileage

yeah, but Alaya-Vijnana makes you look like some gross lizard person. And you can never wear a normal fitting shirt ever again. Even that metal cover makes look like some kind of steampunk hunchback.
I prefer the mobile trace system. Since you can't be effective in combat while being fat or have shit cardio. Bonus if you have a latex fetish.

I liked the para-mail cockpits. They're like motorcycles. Also the flight suits are pretty cool.

The Big-O punch motion is probably the best mecha-control-thing, I can think of.
Outside of mind control, is there an easier control scheme than the Gunmen in TTGL? Just wave two handlebar type things around and BAM controlling a complex giant robot.
