The Hakaider film is it's own continuity and kind of mediocre on the writing front but visually really good, Not great overall and yet 10/10 villain and Hakaider costumes.

Yeah, I'd say MECHANICAL VIOLATOR is worth watching if just for the sick suits and cool fight scenes. It's a really dumb movie, but it's short and a fun watch otherwise.

I don't know from where you got that idea. Both series are completely different, they just share the same look. Robots and cyborgs are not the same, Kikaider is like a newborn, he was never human.
