Oh yeah, I loved those. The engrish was an added bonus. Wish more shows had eyecatchs like those. Patlabor had them up until they started doing the INGURAM one, which was cool as well, but eh.

The first eyecatch from Machine Robo: Revenge of Chronos. SUPERIOR. Starting with episode 8, though, they added in Rom shouting "Machine Robo!" over the music and it really watered down the effect.
