Blade is a series that needs more love.
While I do love Tekkaman Blade... the series animation does not hold up well enough for an "HD" release, unless they go an reanimate the entire thing.
...I mean, if we get an english release, I will of course buy it... But still...

Yeah, I think people overstate the QUALITY a bit. It's there to be sure, but between the amount of ordinary tier TV animation, and the times when the visuals do get great, and the in moments in between those levels, QUALITY isn't a dominant constant.

Oh believe me, I have the DVDs and watch the series probably once a year.
Doesn't mean it's still very dated, besides the obvious fact of them constantly using different animation studios between episodes.
...I just kind of wish they would reanimate the whole thing. keep all the music and voice acting... Just reanimate it and call it a reboot.

I think you need to go back and rewatch Blade. The show in the first 20 episodes suffers from constant stock footage, QUALITY shots, and sometimes outright entire scenes being reused.
