The shows usually happen roughly at the same date they air. 6 episodes is 42 days (49 since there was a week without a new episode) so it's not that different to how we predicted it was going to work, and there hasnt been a two parter yet. So it's likely the 99 days thing is ending soon (probably when 15 basic eyecons are introduced). I think it's likely that Takeru will either get an extension or Spectre will give him his eyecons (it seems Spectre does care for Takeru, he just want him to be stronger) to total 15.

The show wont really pick up until at least the first 15 Eyecons have their episode and Necrom appears.
Honestly I feel that the "99 Days" plot is holding the show back, and the show not really pushing the idea of "OH SHIT GUYS WE ONLY HAVE 40 DAYS LEFT".
Instead we're just seeing a casual search for the items that are needed for revival or you're gone for good.
I love Ghost, the idea, most of the Ganma designs, but it's suffering hard from "Early Show Syndrome" and it's bad when I'm rooting for the Rival(Spect) to win.
