Okawara's building a robot army. You shouldn't have said all those mean things about his art /m/

If it's anything like his art it's going to fall apart at the second it gets completed
>>13482333
I didn't and think that's pretty cool.

>off-brand Gendum
C'mon, Okawara, I know you did some stuff for Banrise, but a little creativity would go a long way here.

No one complained to Yutaka Izubuchi when HRP-2 was based on the Ingram....

That at least has some effort made to differentiate it. Honestly that looks more like a Sentai character than anything else.those hips are awful

Always feel so sorry for Okawara. You see so many people shit on his stuff around here, when I don't see anything disgustingly, terribly wrong with most of it. It's not the best around, sure, but it's not terrible either. Then again, I'm not an artist, and I have no artistic sense, so chances are it's just a case of me having shit taste, which is most likely correct.

This one isn't actually bad, it's just horribly derivative of Gundam.
Real world /m/ thread?
>>13482522
They shit on his stuff but as soon as someone tries a robot design that isn't Okawara-ish, they shit on it.
/m/ is tsundere for Okawara basically.
>>13482519
Unfortunately he is an artist, not an engineer. He can't actually just draw a pretty leg joint and expect it to function IRL.So he kept what he couldn't change.

>This one isn't actually bad, it's just horribly derivative of Gundam.
And yet, he was the one who created the design... If Okawawa himself isn't allowed to draw something gundam-like, who is?
An artist is hired because people liked his prior works. I am sure the people who want the robot only hired him because they WANT something Gundam-ish, and told him so.

/m/ is probably tsundere for a lot of things, come to think of it
So the time of the mass produced big zams is finally upon us?

An artist is hired because his prior works sold.
FTFY

It's okay, most engineers have no idea, if there creations "work" either.
