I wasn't expecting anything, I'm 100% satisfied with the old anime. Original ooks in English soon, downloadable in Japanese now. Hope it's not gonna be like with the Rebuilds whensomeEva fans decided the new anime eliminated all the fun they had previously.

You know what this manga and probably the upcoming new animation of the novels should do? Explain how they were able to find out that Chao Yuling's death was murder under orders by Winslow Kennes Townshent.
ah fuck, golden wings was the only part of LoGH that I skipped, this art is just as unappealing as how golden wings was in general to me

It's not really a prequel though, Fujisaki is just starting from episode 4 of the original OVA, or rather the 3rd chapter of the first novel instead of starting with The Battle of Astarte. Yang's child story is the one that was covered in the Gaiden OVAs although that too was in the first novel volume.

I meant the ship battles. They did formations, ship barrages, and ship movement reasonably well.
