Takeru has some character development going and they tied it in nicely with Spectre who also had a pretty good introduction. The villains are a bit more interesting now that they don't seem to be a team but some kind of deal. Is it just me or Ghost is burning too goddamned fast through all its toys?
Hell, it's episode 5 and we already have a bunch of alt forms, the secondary, and the secondary's own alt forms.
On one hand, it seems to be taking the toy commercials out of the way quickly before the real plot starts, but on the other hand, it's giving too little time for the forms to shine properly before they're inevitably pushed into complete irrelevance once the real power-up shows up, then it too is pushed into complete irrelevance once the final form (that'll be spammed until the end because why bother) shows up, which if things keep this pace will be probably around the early 20s.

Probably the best episode so far. It still feels like everything's going pretty fast, but Specter's introduction feels like it gives more seriousness to Takeru's conflict, before it just kinda felt like he was getting the Eyecons so fast there was no way he wouldn't get them all in time. Their fights were pretty great too. I also liked how Specter already knew how to use all of his Eyecons, made it feel less blatantly like a toy commercial, unlike the last couple episodes.

So..after watching is episode, I like how Akari surprised the sage, like how Takeru didn't totally lose the rider kick because he got Newton back just like the bad guys didn't totally lose this episode and the heroes don't know it.
The cool guy the kid talked about must be Specter. I don't know why, maybe he's relying on Takeru on find and create eyecons because he can't make them, but then, how did he get Tutankhamen?
Also, Ghost and Specter rivalry reminds me of Shaman King with all that tool talk.

When Necrom shows up, Spectre will probably get his shit kicked in by him. When his shit gets kicked in, he might reconsider his life choices and join Takeru. This will probably be sometime after Takeru shows Necrom what for, as I figure will happen. Then Spectre will kick ass again.
So I imagine he will jobbing for a bit to make Necrom look cool/scary for a couple of episodes then come back.
Then after that another Rider ghost will show up and kick Necrom's shit in which will make Necrom reconsider his life decisions. So it jumps from Ghost > Spectre > Necrom > new Rider. It's like poetry.

I just hope the stanzas last long enough to give us an array of neon colored Riders. A set of neon colored Riders is something I always wanted, and Ghost does neon spectacularly. Plus the base suits seem super basic and cheap that it would be easy to produce more. They already have 3 colors, so that's like... 3 more neon colors left.
I think if this guy isn't Necrom, he will be a Rider in some form. He just looks ready to say "henshin" any second now and he can just pull Eyecons out of his ass. All he needs is a transformation device. Though,I get the feeling that if he were a Rider, he would be a classic ghostly white than a neon color.
