Basically it's about a crew of street dancers who get invited to participate in an underground dance contest set up by a philantrophic world-class dancer of seemingly unlimited means. At least one of the challenges was them having a dance-off against a team of robots and the BBEGs ultimate weapon was an evil android version of the contest organizer.
There's some additional plot-elements involving robots and scifi-stuff between the references Yuzuru keeps throwing out left and right. It's a fun series, really.
