Zeta has its issues like pacing, but it also has some of the best written characters in the franchise.They all have lots of agency and lots of development, and that is why I like Zeta. Haman might just be the best written female character in the franchise.

They do not wait for the story to happen to them. They do not wait to be rescued. They do not let somebody else handle the hard stuff.
2) Relatability. A character doesn’t have to be likeable, but they do need to have distinct goals and desires — in short, the things that make us human.
3) Integrity. Look at the list of characters in your latest work. Describe each character in a single, short sentence. If the words “love interest” appear anywhere in that sentence, chances are your character is a bit crap. If your character’s sole motivation is to be someone’s girlfriend, you can’t pretend they’re well-rounded and still keep a straight face.
Haman has agency in spades. During Zeta both the AEUG and Titans are vying for her partnership, and she ends up basically winning the Gryps conflict for Zeon. She isn't likeable, but her goal is not to be lonely, which I feel a lot of people can relate to. And she has integrity (in Zeta at least) that she is her own master. Her goals are her own and separate from that of a male character. She has everything a good character needs.

Basically Haman is pretty much flawless in Zeta, and then they fuck her up in ZZ by making her want Judau's cock over everything and anything else. It honestly makes me really sad, because she was such a badass in Zeta. The bitch got shit done.
