Both could be used to Start or Stop Aumaan, and was created by Nohman's father to manage Aumaan, beforeAumaan's purpose was changed from simply a weapon to give Mars superiority over Earth, to become the End of Everything. Nohman killed his father, raided the colony in ZoE1 just to get Anubis and Jehuty to change the Aumaan plan for himself. If Nohman stole Jehuty instead of Anubis, it still would be have used for evil.

But yeah, given that Mars was able to get independance, I'd imagine that would cause quite a bit of tension in the Jupiter colonies, considering that they're actually further away and harder to manage than even Mars was*.
So Earth's first instinct here in aftermath of losing Mars is probably to crack down just be doubly sure.
And as always it's going to have the opposite result because if there's one thing all Earth Federations across all settings have in common it's an complete inability in pattern recognition.

Metatron is very consistently throughout the series implied to be alive, and evil. An AI like ADA, Pharsti or Dolores can overwrite the metatron's own intelligence, but weak or no-AI machines like Idolo, Harutmarut or Anubis tend to show the metatron eventually takes control over the pilot, poisoning them and causing insanity.

Anubis actually had an AI like Jehuty named DELPHI. It might've been just like ADA, except instead of having Leo as a role model it had bugfuck Nohman.
