I remember there was this one hilarious discussion about a rivalry between a Barzam and a Nemo, and I can't seem to find the picture for it. Would anybody happen to have it? It's the one where somebody photoshopped major Gundam battle scenes with the Barzam and the Nemo replacing the iconic suits. One of them was a Nu Gundam Nemo and a Sazabi Barzam.

The Titans didn't really pass the Barzam up, it was all over the battlefield in the Gryps Conflict. It just was a mid season upgrade that no named characters used, so it got very little screen time.

From what I've read on the wiki's Barzam was going to be the EFF and/or Titans next big high performance mass production model. It was supposed to build from the moveable frame from the Gundam Mk II and generally be very powerful.
But cost cutting and lack of resources meant it became one of these hydra/kitbash deals (like a lot of other suits produced by the EFF later *ahem* I'm looking at you Byarlant Custom). Zeon style monoeye, uses a Marasai's reactor, and majority of the produced ones didn't get the cool unique beam cannon, they got stuck with GM beam rifles. The megaparticle cannon groin was the most unique thing on it. The later redesigns reflect this a lot, where the Barzam seems to look a lot like a Mark II with a pointy head and a monoeye, with some random titan parts thrown on for good measure. Not that any of that's bad, I love the Barzam
The Barzam is a weird suit in terms of stats as well. No source can explain what is going on with the groin cannon/thruster. It says it has a Marasai reactor, but it seems to lose around 120mw of output power somewhere. It's also made of Gundanium, so its damn strong

The Barzam is my favorite mook suit, since I don't think the Kämpfer counts.
I find it strange it's always late to be mentioned in favorite mobile suit threads.
The Barzam was ok in Threat of Axis V when you got it. The only problem is it gets outclassed pretty quick once ZZ era suits role around.
