I'm not the biggest reader, but I wanted to really thank /lit/ for introducing me to this book.
I loved it and couldn't put it down. What are some books you might recommend for someone that really enjoyed this or what are some books that made you really laugh?

It's not nearly as funny or well written, but Tales of the City by Maupin features a similar cast of strange characters.

the inimitable jeeves is better, go for his short stories, cut off point for top quality is probably the second world war. His extremely early stuff (school stories and the like) isn't great either.
