That seems like a very un-Zappaesque sentiment.
Don't know if I would consider him a philosopher, but he was definitely bright and saw through a lot of the bullshit that constituted modern society. I disagree with some of the things he believed in, but I can respect the guy; his music ain't too shabby either.
