Is that book good? It got some pretty great reviews when it came out. I almost picked it up one day then decided to wait.

Not OP, yeah I thought it was good. I was hooked by chapter 4 (and the first 3 are very short). The perspective rotates between three different characters in different time periods, I found one of them much more interesting than the other two but none of them were bad.

I'd say give it a go if you like multi-generational stories.
