I don't know. There's some interesting discipline in not being able to cut and paste or make universal find/replaces. And no spelling correction! Type writing offers a thoughtless spontaneity that word processing can't imitate.

Still got my great grandfather's typewriter. It's damn near impossible to find ribbons for it.
Used to use it for school.
Love the way there is no correction other than "X"ing a word out or using white-out.
It weighs like 30-40 pounds with it's wooden carrying case...
