Think of writing a novel that serves as a literary deconstruction of the 'Legend of Zelda' series; essentially I would explore the metaphysics of having three people (Link, Zelda and Gannon) continually reincarnated to undergo the same struggles. My twist is that the Link-analog would be a sociopath, the Ganon-analog would be actually quite a decent guy, and the Zelda-analog will either be a massive slut or hamstrung by a male-oriented culture (i've not decided yet). I'd hope to explore the blurring of lines between good and evil, with a dash of realpolitik.

I'm sorry friend, but unless you are some masterful writer or can engage with these themes at Dostoevsky level, you are just going to sound like someone writing about something they have no clue about, and has most likely decided to write about them after being broiled in the basement for too long.
There does not seem any reason to read this; there is no salvation, and I don't see any chance of feeling good after reading this. I'm not going to feel any different about video games or political philosophy, and I don't need to hear that shit is fucked.
And with the sociopath thing, 7 Psychopaths said it best: aren't you a bit tired of them?
If you disconnected it from video games, it may be a bit more appealing, or at least have more room for profundity.
