i just finished infinite jest for the first time and am both heartbroken and in love with dfw & each character. hal, james, joelle and don stole the show for me. avril's compulsions, mario's innocence, orin... just uggghhh. katherine g's depression & accounts of it, too, were awesome. it was all awesome--the prose, as a philosophical piece, an ideology, etc. anyways ya
