Hey lit, its my dream to go to Harvard Law, as a current student at a top 40-50 uni and the first person in my family to attend college. I took the LSAT last week and scored much lower than what I was practicing. Probably no better than a 166. This is because I had multiple anxiety attacks toward the end of the exam. Also a pretty anxious person in general, particularly in social situations and anything performance based (exams, athletics, stage fright, etc.) I tried therapy in the past and it didn't help, is there anything to read that can help me out with this?
This isn't Reddit
and you have no chance at that

Fuck you faggot

Don't get mad at me, I'm the only one that is going to tell you the truth
>>8153271
Ooh, are you bitter you failed your dreams? That's too bad for you :(.
Good luck OP

As long as you're not white or Asian, you've still probably got a shot. Don't worry about your inadequacies, there's a whole infrastructure of lies and cant built to cover for you.
If you're one of the higher races, then lol. You sound like a total fucking wreck. You do realize there are people out there at least as smart as you who aren't subject to uncontrollable panic attacks, and they'll eat your lunch, right? Maybe upper-tier law isn't for you. How far do you think you're going to make it as a big-shot lawyer if you can't even take a fucking paper exam without a nervous breakdown?
>>8153291
He has a point, unfortunately. You've gotta fix your problems if you want to be a big shot.
>>8153265
Take pills and cognitive behavioral therapy
It just gets worse in Law school
>>8153296
I don't really wanna be a big shot lawyer that's not too important to me. Harvard's always seemed untouchable to me though but I have a pretty good chance to get in if I score well on the LSAT
Seriously though are there no good books for this?
>>8153265
Sounds like you failed to actually prepare for your test. I'll be frank, there will be a lot more of them if you want to be a lawyer.
But if you get anxious from all that, then the truth is that you need to expand your comfort zone. Which you can do by getting out of it and finding ways to get used to new things. A feel good book isn't going to help you.

What is the colour of your skin? Answer please. I am serious.
>>8153322
He said he has anxiety attacks
That's a white person disorder
OP I will be nice and recommend The Power of Now. I read a ton of self-help books in an effort to help me with my depression and this is the only one that actually did help. It's free on the first page of google.
>>8153322
I'm white but if I get a 174 or above (which I would get on practice tests) than I could get in. I know other white and Asian kids from my school that got in to Harvard/Stanford/UChicago
>>8153334
You'd better shape the fuck up then. You have to lose the panic attacks in a hurry, only the absolute best of the best of the best get in if you are white. Gl anon

is this image supposed to be ripping the closest thing you get to public health care? Like, if you don't like jewish stereotypes nickling and diming you, you wouldn't enjoy the previous system of healthcare where your body was on the line?
I don't understand, why are the alt-right so stupid and contradictory? Did you turn 18 after the fact?
I don't understand

>Good Self Help Books
There's no such thing. Stop being a pussy.
>>8153265
have you tried Focusing by Eugene Gendlin?
>>8153340
I just find it funny, I'm converting to Judaism. I do think public healthcare sucks though, there is a good reason why in Canada if you get cancer and have money you book a flight to the USA so you don't die.

>there is a good reason why in Canada if you get cancer and have money you book a flight to the USA so you don't die.
That doesn't happen. What did happen is a stark increase in the number of cancer deaths from the years 2008-2010 because of the economic recession, patients that would have otherwise been treated in their previous incomes but weren't able to make the cut.
A death toll of around 5,000,000 individuals from preventable cancer deaths. Do you know in other first world nations, what the economic crash did to their health care? Hm? It remained the same and 5,000,000 people didn't die of preventable cancer death.

Alright Marx, I get it, socialism rules. Go preach it to your professor or something.
Let me know how you feel when you have cancer and get put on a 6 month waiting list to begin treatment in a country where private practice is illegal.

>Let me know how you feel when you have cancer and get put on a 6 month waiting list to begin treatment in a country where private practice is illegal.
It should be easy since less people die in Canada from preventable death than in the United States, from preventable death.
Let me know how that works out when you have an epidemic that needs to be contained fast.
>>8153367
Maybe that is because of the massive difference in population? You really drank the Kool aid huh
I thought that book was called
EAT
MY
PUSSY
for some reason

You're either going to find something better to do than "get into Harvard -> ???" or get used to the idea of using stimulants to get you through the stress for a few years before completely burning out and maybe recovering normal mental function before you're eligible for Social Security.

Well, EPL is about how the author abandoned her husband and used dat alimony to chase swarthy cock in exotic locales so it's a perfectly suitable title.
