Hey /lit/
Books for people who have been quite sad for many years?
Books than might provide some relief.
Thanks

I am not a religious man. I don't think I'll find solace in the bible. Thanks anyway.

Maybe your sad because you are so closed minded?
The divine comedy.
Book's won't help. Go outside.

I'm not either, but I read every bible I could for a few years. Helped to develop an educated opinion on the matter
If you have a copy of italo calvino invisible cities, try that. It's comfy and harmless but downright beautiful. It is my go to for when my unsatisfying marriage, terrible older son, soul crushing debt, and failing health get me down

Seriously, spend a year at the gym, study in free time, and pursue a career and hobby

Socialise, go to the pub, go for walk, get a hobby, whatever, just fill your days with things. Don't give in to the temptation to lie in bed all day/wank/go on here.
