preferably from the Jewish and Christian traditions.
I'm more interested in the mythological significance than the philosophical.

Aquinas, from my experience, deals more with the philosophical elements on religion rather than the mythology. Like I said I'd rather get an idea of who the archangel are and the role each serve respectively.
