Great list, saving for future perusal. I've read O'Brien, Borges, Marquez, Pynchon, Sontag, Calvino, O'Connor, Morrison, Kundera, Bellow, and Mamet. Have Ellison, Lowry, Campbell, and Reed on my to-read list.
