>TL;DR need some stoic books to help me study
/lit/ I need some books on stoicism or by stoics to help me revise. I guess I'm generally a stoic but if I'm in stoic hyperdrive I revise and read much better. ive been shifting away from it procrastinating and whatnot so I need to get pumped up by some stoics to increase my virtue towards academia. otherwise I end up masturbating and playing video games and end up only reading or studying for about 2 hours rather than more.

I started reading it to continue my stoic learning. In the end, it ended up being a sobering window into Roman life. It makes me feel like human society and troubles haven't evolved in any meaningful way in over a thousand years. I'm still solving my problems like Marcus.
