So I started my journey into literature with this one and I finished it yesterday. It was a really great read. I'm wondering if my next one should be something like a McCarthy or if I should go with a behemoth like The Count of Monte Cristo or Crime and Punishment? Thoughts /lit/?

The Count of Monte Cristo is easy to read besides its page count. So start with that. The prison scenes are really great.

Anna karenina and war and peace are both extremely good, better imo, if you want to read more Tolstoy.
