I own several physical books that don't currently have audiobook versions available. I want to start recording some so that people who only listen to audiobooks can enjoy them. Yes I do it for free.

I think my voice is nice and deep enough and I have a high-quality microphone. Otherwise, what are some good conventions for reading an audiobook?

What do you like to hear in audiobooks?
Are there any good resources for making my vocal inflections more enjoyable for the listener?
Who are your favorite audiobook voice actors?
What are things you hate in some audiobooks?
