I'm currently in a sort of dry spell, where everything I write and say is unoriginal, unfunny, and generally worthless. I always stumble and lose my place when I'm trying to say something, I cant write a sentence with decent syntax to save my life, and whenever I'm writing something for school I fuck up on a letter every other word. Anyone else go through periods where you cant write or say anything good? If so, how do you get out of it?

My whole life was EXACTLY like that until recently (couldn't put two fucking words together). I honestly think that in my inmost heart I just gave up or the drug damage took its toll.
Just keep practicing. Read "The Elements of Style," it should rub off on you.

stop trying to mold your writing before it is written. write in a stream of consciousness style. just bang away at your keyboard and pick what sentences ring-out to you. set less restriction on your writing and it will open up. don't set-out to write anything particular. just write down what comes naturally to you.

What did OP mean by this? Did he mean that the sentences he writes denote meaning poorly? If so, quoted sentence is case in point.
