That's kind of like what I do
I don't burn them, that would be stupid
But I rip out a page after I'm done with it
I never re-read anyways and it's and this way I never have to use any bookmarks or anything

I have never understood this practice. I've heard people who reread books like every year.
There are too many books out there to waste time rereading ones you've already done
