Hey /lit/,
Is there an English (or German) translation of the Iliad without the retarded Anglo-Nigger spelling?
I am looking for a version with Zews, Akhilleus, Akhaians, not "Zeus", "Achilles", "Acheans". It's bad enough that I can't read it in Greek, don't need the names to be in Snownigger-slang.

Why would you spell it like that? An omega doesn't translate to a w and a chi doesn't translate to a kh. You could argue that Zeus should be Zeos or sth like that though...

Fitzgerald translation. oxford edition for the iliad.
it has those spellings for Fitzgerald's odyssey because its a vintage publication but why don't you just live with it?
