You land so sick on me-- sickly?

it's not you, not your character, you're sick,

you make me think--

i hope--

"I can take care of her,"

in slow dark moments of bravado in the night.

Ill, that's the word for her, i mean you, love,
I'd do anything you'd ask,

but would it hurt to ask you to be tough?
to toughen up?
