The system has done our minds over. Everyone is competing to write the big money book that doesn't offend anyone. No one cares how corporately crushed we are.
I want to write a short novel that is shocking in today's society
I've been looking but it seems hard both to shake literary and social rules as they are difficult to distinguish

lel here in France there are so many books published against islam and immigration
but I don't want to write something conservative... except of course if it's an ironical display of someone who is overly orthodox or a committed ignorant, that would actually be good.

I think something that's over-the-top positive about Islam would receive some backlash.
There aren't a lot of ways of going about that, however, that are really that interesting.
