One cannot compare Russell to Wittgenstein.
Russell is a beautiful logician. He can identify supressed premises unlike any other philosopher. His analytic method is very useful since it allows for directed debate. If you disagree with Russell, you need to identify which premise you disagree with. Indeed, the analytic method really is only there to facilitate philosophical discussion. It's radical to suppose that just because something cannot easily be expressed in terms of propositional phrases, that it doesnt exist.
Wittgenstein is completely different. Wittgenstein is a big picture thinker. Russell focuses in on trees, whereas WIttgenstein looks at the whole forest, and in particular, its limits. Wittgenstein helps one put into perspective what words ARE, what they DO, what meaning MEANS.
Together, with Russell's method and wittgenstein's perspective, one can communicate in the most clear way possible.
