Have you ever wished of going to a video game like world do you wish to have a legendary weapon, well the main character of this novel is flung into such a situation along with 3 other heroes. The only down side is his legendary weapon is a shield and he cannot use anything else. Also there seems to be 'some' discrimination towards the hero who uses the shield.
The story delves into the emotional effect of discrimination, fear, insanity, betrayal, and rejection of reality.
