I began reading Harper Lee's, 'To Kill a Mockingbird', two weeks ago. And I was curious.

Its pleasant stylistically and has some well written characters, but its far from a master piece.

As far as I know its only in the curriculum because:

>tomboy
>friendly autistic man

If it didn't have such progressive themes nobody would even remember it.
