Maybe 2 or 3 years ago. Saw it on the table in the children's section at the library and flipped through it. It had those annoying gimmicks where you flick back and forth for it to be animated and 3d hologram fx iirc.

3 months ago. I introduced my 5 year old niece to them, started out reading them to her but she ended up staying up all night reading it to herself.
First chapter book she read by herself.
Both her parents are big readers, so I think she'll turn out fine.
I'll introduce her to classic stuff when she's a bit older.
