Deadhouse Gates, Memories of Ice, House of Chains, and Midnight Tides are excellentfor genre fiction.

The shittyness of the last 4 were such that I couldnt read the last one. Deadhouse Gates is especially good, a mix of Xenophon and the martyrdom of Hussein at Karbala
