Travesty by John Hawkes. It's just a guy talking at two people in a car for 90 pages so you could probably adapt it pretty easily. You have to read it to see what it's about though.

Not exactly lesser known but plenty of REH's Conan stories could be done low budget.
And they have a dedicated following, so people would certainly appreciate your work.
