>Joseph Conrad’s enduring portrait of the ugliness of colonialism in a deluxe edition with a gripping cover by Hellboy artist Mike Mignola

They're a ripoff and a ridiculous idea in general considering you're paying extra for a paperback that's going to fall apart in 15 years tops.

My Penguin Deluxe Moby Dick is a beautiful book, but the cover for that shit looks absolutely idiotic.

most of them aren't worth it. i have the leaves of grass one and it's rather nice. probably wouldn't get more though.
and OP that cover design is horrible. truly.

The usual for Penguin: a big focus on design, but printed on material that's basically thick toilet paper.
If you've owned any Penguins for a few years in a climate with any humidity, you will now have a collection of yellowed books. (This doesn't apply to the paper they used in the 80s and earlier, which still largely holds up well)

Did you put that page there? It looks to be completely unrelated to the next page.
