The hamfisted philosophy is apparent on page one, but the story itself is entertaining and the way the one dimensional characters interact is amusing, if predictable. This is about guilty pleasures, after all.

Anything sci-fi or fantasy is a guilty pleasure (Pratchett, grrm, etc). My book shelf is a weird mix... Like a Reddit patrician

I am also enjoying The Fountainhead right now.

The Eye of the World.

The rest of the series make me feel guilty for liking any of it, but the first couple books (mostly the first) are really good to me.
>>
>>7651382
In that case, I can respect that. Too many people around here jump on the "if you read anything but the greeks you are an idiot" train. But really 4chan as a whole just hates everything, so what can you do.

Hunger Games I genuinely enjoyed, not even a fan of YA lit.

Probably because I like Battle Royale and The Long Walk.

I wouldn't call it Twilight at all. Hisui and Kohaku routes goes deeper into psychology than any YA and most 'adult' books.
I kind of wish the vn had no good endings, it ruins the mood of the true endings. Hisui's suicide was a nice way to end the route, there was no need for a good ending.
