It's one of my favorite books. It's incredile, the story, the characters, the prose, the themes... Read the first few pages to see if you like it, but I'd totally recommend it.

I actually thought it had a great introductory paragraph. It introduces some of the main themes (dichotomies of life & death, Dream & reality, etc), and sets the mood and tone of the book.
