Read the first three and enjoyed them. The characters all have the same fucking names but that's historically accurate. Worth a read but by no means are they masterpieces

They're fine. I read them in French so I don't know how the translation reads. I think saying they inspired got is a bit of a strech. >>7610720
Got is better written by far. Got is awesomely written despite the meme h8rz. The details and themes are amazing. The accursed kings are much shorter and constrained by the facts, as they are historical novels with some "fantasy".
An unexpected death -> satanic poisoning!
Estranged couple comes back together -> love potion totes worked!
They also lack got's mysteries, characterization and subtle plots.
They are quite short, go for them, OP
