>download a lot of books in ebook/epub format
>own a kindle (mobi)

Calibre is the best I've used.

This, the options on newer versions of calibre are pretty amazing.
I just wish the PDF format would be replaced with futuristic insta OCR

> you will never have Claudio's majestic hair
Calibre can send everything you own to kindle and autoconvert automatically

i've got a paperwhite so i usually send to the @kindle email they give you. i don't think it even has the option to connect by cable anymore which i kinda don't like.
>>7605856
You can't connect the paperwhite by cable? Does it literally just charge? Wow that's jewish as fuck if so
I use CloudConvert every day - it's perfect.

You can, using the included cord, I slapped a few books on my wife's paperwhite with calibre last night.

yah all it does it charge. they took away the functionality of connecting by cable in place of the email. i think the reason why is so that they can force you to connect so they can send new ads. i sometimes go months without it connected to a wifi so the ads will disappear.
ya pretty jewish. but at least i can still transfer downloaded books. if it only let me have books bought through amazon i would've returned it immediately.

This is not true...

Take that same charge cable and plug it into the USB port on your computer. Calibre recognizes it right off. Transfer to your heart's content.
